Season, climate and
clothes
Botswana's hunting season extends from April to September.
During this time the climate is temperate with bright clear days
and cool nights. Clients are advised to bring hats, comfortable
walking boots and khaki or green for hunting. Warm clothes should
be bought for the evenings. Camouflage clothing is prohibited.
Entry Requirements
Overseas clients must be in possession of a valid passport. As
visa requirements change from time to time, it is advisable to
check with your local Travel Agent. Visitors may bring in unlimited
foreign currency . It is also advisable to have a return air ticket
to your country.
Safety & Security
Botswana has an excellent record for tourist safety which is an
indication of the importance in which the people of Botswana both
appreciate and promote tourism as an essential part of the economy.
Health & Medical Issues
A course of anti-malaria tablets should be started two weeks before
your safari begins and should be continued for four weeks after
the safari ends. A full medical chest is carried in each camp
and our hunters are trained in first aid. Radio -Telephones provide
essential coverage for emergencies. There are excellent medical
facilities in all major centers.
Insurance
You are advised to take out full insurance cover for yourself
and your property. Whilst we take every possible precaution, we
cannot accept liability for injuries, accident or illness to persons
and / or loss or damage of equipment.
Tours
The Okavango Delta system in Northern Botswana is one of the last
great Wilderness areas left in Africa. The crystal clear waters
are studded with palm fringed islands and the whole area teems
with huge herds of game, as well as a myriad of birds.
